Hair and Makeup Help

Hello all 08 brides-

So I am getting married the Saturday after Thanksgiving at VC in Riverhead. Because I live all the way in Queens I will be staying at the hotel the night before. Therefore I either need someone to come to me or for me to go somewhere out in Riverhead to get my hair and makeup done. i am looking for some help. I have found a couple of people who will come to me for makeup but not really for hair. The reason being that it will just be me and my mom who will need our makeup and hair done. Many people will not travel all the way to riverhead for two people or they are quoting me a FORTUNE!!! I would love some names of people who you are using who are either very very close to Riverhead or are willing to come to me at the hotel and who are not a fortune, especially for my mom. Thanks soo much for the input and help!!

Hmmm...you may want to try my girl....not sure what she would quote but check out my hair trial pics. She has a salon but does go to brides on day of. Christine or Erica at Head Rush.

did you try fresh face fwd? They travel and they're a team that does hair AND make up. They dont charge an arm and a leg too. FM me if you want info, I'm doing my trial today. I will post pictures later.

Who has everyone used for thier wedding. I am getting worried that people are getting booked up and I want to try to schedule a trial. Thanks so much again ladies!!

Bridal Touch By Elena, she's an LIW vendor and a very nice lady.

I had my first trial with her, got gorgeous makeup, but hair was weird. So I tried a lot of other people, was so disappointed.

Called her back and she gave me a free hair re-trial. And the hair wasn't bad ... I'm still deciding if I like it...

She charges 350 for airbrush makeup and hair for bride.
And doesn't care if you don't have anyone else doing it and doesn't care if your far, as long as your on the Island.

I was going to say Christine from Head Rush. She is friends with my friend who is a salon owner and they help each other with weddings.
