Hair and makeup question

Did you all book your hair and makeup artists before actually having a trial? If so, will you lose your deposit if you don't like the trial results and want to cancel? I have an idea of who I'd like to book based on reading reviews and looking at pictures online, but wasn't sure how this all works.

Hair and makeup question

You schedule a trial and pay for that only. You put a deposit down when you officially book them. You should do a trial before actually booking the artist.

Hair and makeup question

When you book a trial, ask if they are available for your wedding day. If they are, they'll hold that day until the trial. If they wont hold the day, move on.
