2. How far in advance should you schedule the hair and makeup trial?
3. This is in regards to tanning. If you expect that you may try to get a little tan for your wedding, does it matter if you're not tan for the makeup trial? I would think not because I don't plan on getting so tan that I look like a different person but I thought I'd ask anyway.
4. When you do your hair trial, should you know exactly what you want or just have an idea and be open to suggestions?

Re: Hair and Makeup Questions...
Airbrush make-up is spray-on pretty much like a spray on tan except that it's spray on foundation & make-up. I had natural make-up for my wedding so I would not be able to tell you whether it's recommended or not. However, it does cover up skin imperfections and leave a very flawless look. For the hair & make-up, it depends on which artist you are working with. If you're working with a salon, I would say at least 6-7 months unless the person does free lance work then you can give them a few months notice. For make-up artist/hair stylist that exclusive bridal make-up/hair, some of them book a year in advance. For the hair & make-up, I would bring pics & ideas which makes the trial quicker and easy to work with. This way they know exactly you're looking for & not waste any time. You can def be open to suggestions and see if you like any of the looks. Keep in mind if at the end of the trial you end up not liking any of the looks, it could be a waste of time and money. I think if you got a tan for the make-up, it does change the skin tone a bit since the make-up varies from person to person depending on their skin tone & hair. So if you're planning on getting a tan and you're doing a make-up look for light skin, it would def not be the best idea. Let the make-up/hair stylist know in advance about your plans for tanning.

Re: Hair and Makeup Questions...
I went into trials with pics and I'm glad they're over with so I think you could get started on them asap probably because many girls do quite a few!

Re: Hair and Makeup Questions...
I would say start looking now for hair and makeup artist(s) because they book up quickly and it can take going to more than one person before you find THE ONE. I went to 3 trials before booking my girl. But every single one I went in with pics of ideas I had for the look I was trying to achieve...
Airbrush is usually recommended because its VERY light, stays on ALL day and all NIGHT, and looks AMAZING in photos.
And I actually had a similar issue because in the winter I get VERY pale and in the summer I get very dark. So I let the makeup artist know and she actually made me 1 shade darker ONLY to make sure that I liked how the eye shadow colors looked. AND that IS very important because colors look VERY different against pale skin compared to tan skin. So just keep that in mind and make sure you let the artist know. If they are good, they will know what to do.
