So after an annoying day with things going wrong.... I was in a horrible mood... My FH had to drive his aunt back to Queens... Now Sunday is the day that I go see my father.... So now we had to bring his aunt to Queens .... He drops me off at my father's with our daughter and he leaves to Queens... My trial was at 1230ish.... Well he doesnt get back until a little after 1230.. So I called the lady and she said no problem come in at 130/145ish.... Ok so finally get there at 130ish... I am using Bridal Touch by Elena.... She is AWESOME! Such a sweet heart... Love her! Love the way my hair and makeup come out... BUT dont get the reaction from my father and FH that I wanted... So of course I cry LOL... Now I cant blame them.. Its nothing like what Im used to... I NEVER do my hair (I always just throw it up in a messy bun) and I NEVER do my makeup EVER! But besides all that.. I really do like it.... Tell me what you think....
ETA: Please dont mind my bushy eyebrows! Its been a while since I got them done.... I havent had time to 'take care of myself'.....Its hard being a mommy LOL.... But I am going this week to get them done.... Ill post pics hahahahah!

You should really get your eyebrows cleaned up and shaped. It makes your entire face change. Sorry I am just obsessed with eyebrows.

When I went to talk to my hair dresser about my wdding day hair she said make sure you pick a style that will still look like YOU. On your big day you dont want to look so much different than you would normally...I dont usually wear much make-up or do my hair other than down so I took that to heart...if FH and your dad think it doesnt look like you I would consider changing it IMHO...I think you look great tho!

I like the hair a lot... but I don't know about the makeup. I'm being brutally honest here since this is a trial, and that's the whole point of having one.
Edit: I agree about the eyebrows too. You are very pretty but the makeup is a little off.... your skin looks flawless but your face is a totally different color than your neck. Your blush is really dark and creeps up to your temples, and it looks like you have dark circles all around your eye - almost like a black eye. The makeup should have covered that and it looks like it actually made it worse. Maybe a little more color for the eyeshadow and lips? These should be easily fixed though!
Overall, the makeup is overpowering you and I think if you rubbed off some of the blush and added some concealer it would be 1000x better

I know!!!! I forgot to add that to my OP.... My eyebrows are horrible... I havent got them done in like a year

I love your hair it looks awesome.. I just want to make a little suggestion.. the make up looks good but your eyes are looking like a mask of white.. Ithnk they need a little bit more color since the rest of your skin has color and you have dark hair.. But everything else looks good!

I think your hair looks great and the make-up is not way over the top, which is good. However, I do agree with Jteach and feel that you should get your eyebrows shaped. Besides that, I think the rail was a success!

Yea I think I decided to just get my hair done.. I have NO problem doing my own makeup... I dont like alot of makeup.. Thought I do like it... Its not me.... I like very neutral colors, something very natural looking.. Almost like I have no makeup on.... Im not into blush AT ALL!!! I hate concealer.... So I think Ill do my own makeup that day LOL.... I like the hair a lot, but I don't think the colors she used on your face are right for you, definitely try a 2nd trial with a different artist

You should do a makeup trial on yourself and then post pictures! I love the way I do my makeup but I find that it either looks good up close but disappears in pictures, or looks good in pictures but makes me look like a hooker up close. I'm going to get my makeup professionally done in hopes of looking good in person AND in pictures
Your makeup trial doesn't really look professionally done and you probably COULD do a better job on yourself! You can always do a trial with someone else too though

I'm sorry you had such a bad day.
I too love your hair...but not loving the makeup. Mostly just the eyes...dunno...I'm sure you could do a great job doing your own makeup...but do you think it would stay on all day? How about a 2nd trial?

love the hair, but I have to suggest a softer look for the makeup. Go a lighter with the face makeup and a little darker on the lips....i'm sorry you had such a bad day....

i think your hair looks really good but to be honest i think you should clean your eyebrows up a litttle and maybe brighten your eyes and lips a little. especially for that day your makeup will be so important with all the pics and long day you'll need it to last

sorry you had an emotional day I think you are on a good start! Love the hair! I'd have a second trial done and take along the photo of the first. Tell them what you liked or didn't like about the first trial, and see what they can come up with. You may be most comfortable doing it yourself

I love the hair I think it came out gorgeous!
Completely honest though, not a huge fan of the make-up . . . .it seems so heavy around your eyes, it almost looks like a circle of grey around your eye socket. . . its probably just too heavy.
Whether you decide to get your make-up done or do it yourself, definitely do some more trials until you love it!

I love the hair but the colors of the make up i dont know. Seems shes using a foundation a bit too dark and then under your eyes theres blue/grey eyeshadow that she used on your lids, which happens when they do your make up but they always clean that part up after and put more concealer under the eyes.

you know what, she used colors that are stylish but the thing is that it HAS to go with your skin tone. I realized looking at the colors used on your eyes, is what others did to me. Not for trials for the wedding but ive had my make up done before. Now yes i love when i see greys on others but on me it does not go at all, so although the make up can be nice and the colors it has to really compliment you. Maybe do a smokey eye but with other colors, maybe black or even with brown and use a different color palette

LOVE THE HAIR!! Not a fan of the makeup. I had to go for three trials of makeup before we got it right. I went through the same thing withthe makeup....need to find what looks good on you!

I totally agree with ESPO.......your hair looks unbelievable! Very pretty and a definite keeper! As for the makeup, i'm not crazy about how they did your eyes. You almost have that 'mascara left over from last night' look. You have such a pretty face and i don't think this does you justice!!! I'm sorry if i'm being too honest but I would want someone to tell me! :)
