Ok some of my friends (non LIW girls) said that I was stupid for wanting to do hair trials sooo soon...I want to get it booked they think its dumb but I really don't. I will not be using my salon for my wedding hair and makeup ...I love the work that some of the vendors on here do and I want to start hair trials and makeup trials soon so they don't get all booked up.
It's not too soon. I've heard that some of the more popular artists like Oksana book up a year in advance. I'm going to cover that in the next few months as well. Especially since I'll need someone to travel to me and my girls day of.
You are not stupid! I think you should do it sooner rather than later because you don't want to miss out! I would schedule appointments with the vendors you are interested in. Worst case scenario, you don't like their work and you have time to book soemone else. Best case is that you book on the spot (like I did!)
