I'm a low maintenance kind of girl and really hardly ever wear makeup or do my hair. I had two weddings this year and my engagement party - for those I went to Christie's in Bayside. EVERYONE loved my hair and makeup. That's the first pic below.
Then I went to the Pedala sisters for a hair and makeup trial. I left IN LOVE with their work, but my friends and family didn't like it at all. That's the second and third pics below.
Here's what they are saying: the Eparty looked more natural, more like myself (but prettier), more like the Regina they know. The Pedala trial looks TOO done up, TOO dramatic, TOO much, TOO old for me, TOO much makeup, etc.... I don't agree, but in truth, i don't know anything about this kind of stuff. I'm lucky I remember my lip gloss in the morning.
So, honest opinion ladies - what do you think of the two makeup/hair options below?
working on the pics, give me a second to make sure they appear...

first of all you look beautiful is both trials! they both have a different effect to them ..IMO i would choose the first one!

i'm not going to be much help, but i LOVE both. the one from christies is obviously more natural, but then you also have to think about how you'll photograph under bright lights and stuff, and i think the pedala trial will be better for photography.
but, don't make the mistake of listening to others just to please them, do whatever u think is best!

Thanks everyone - I'd love to go with what I think is best, but truth is they both look nice. I'm sort of the anti-bride and none of this stuff - hair, makeup, dress, etc. - excites me at all so I really don't have an opinion one way or the other. But I'm sure I'd like to have lovely pictures to look at and show my family and children one day Thank you all for sharing your thoughts!

i do think u lok great in both but i am partial to the pedala sisters. i loved their work as i saw it in milanas wedding!!! they make u look amazing and flawless! like a bride. the first trial u posted looks beautiful also but like an every party kind of beautiful. u lok gorgeous in the pedala trial!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Which one do YOU like better. That should be the deciding factor.
You look beautiful in both....and don't forget you can tell whoever you choice to do something a little different if you want. Either way, you will be stunning!!!

I love the hair in the first one and I liked the eyes in the second one... I do agree that the makeup in the first one looked more natural but I thought the eyes in the second one really popped!!!

But you are the bride...so you should look a bit more 'dramatic' than usual! haha...plus you want to make sure your makeup shows up in pics...i think your m/u trial looks beautiful...and still natural! (and i am not one to wear alot myself) Go with what YOU like...

I like the 3rd set of pictures. It looks really pretty and still looks like you. You need to do it up a little for your wedding IMO.

the first one you look pretty, very natural...But the Pedala sisters work looks AMAZING... you look pperfect in every way! this is the one day you can get done up, go for it!

I LOVE LOVE LOVE the Pedala trial... I think your wedding day is the day you can be more dramatic you look GORGEOUS in both but I vote for Pedala

u go with what YOU like....i think u look breathtakingly FLAWLESS in the pedella pictures. u look beautiful in the first one too...but my vote is 100% for pedela
