Hair at Home

So I have a trial coming up with a well known vendor on here. But I have a concern. This hair person would come to my house the day of and do my hair plus 6 of my girls. How does one person get that all done and do they give the bride enough attention when she has 6 other girls to also do? This concerns me???

Maybe she will bring an assistant or she will just start really early in the morning...Im not so sure of all that stuff yet...

I have the SAME concern!!! I think the hairdresser brings an assistant with her. I actually emailed my hairdresser the same question and she has yet to respond. If she is going to do everyone's hair, I would rather hire an additional person...so I know that I will get the attention I deserve.

I hired two hair people. One person is not enough for 6 people unless you want to start hair at 4am. Ask your vendor, I'm sure she has someone she usually works with or you could hire 2 different vendors. HTH

My girl doesn't have an assistant...she does it all herself..and I DO have a large BP. I was very concerned at first, but she said that she would come very early since my ceremony doesn't start till 4pm we have PLENTY of time. She kept assuriing me that it would be fine. We'll do the adults first, then the kids, and save me for last. And, she's verry organized with time, so she gave me a full breakdown. LOL.

they get it done... there just has to be a good schedule planned for it. They usually know how long each person takes... depending on what everyone wants (some just want curls, some half up others a full up do) it can take prob anywhere between 30 min to an hour. with 6 people I would say around 4-5 hours with one person doing hair.

they can do it, but just will take longer of course. It was only me, my mom and MOH who got hair and make up done at my house by the same make up artist and hair vendor. It took about 3 hours for hair for all of us, maybe a little under since my mom did something simple and kept it down. But it does take an hour on average to get hair done for each person, if you will have bm's who get something more simple done then will take a little less. You just have to email your hair and make up vendors and tell them your ceremony time, well what time you have to leave the house by actually and how many ppl are getting it done and they will tell you what time to start, you might have to start early in the morning. But they do this all the time and know how long it will take them.

Some girls do hire a separate vendor to do their bm's, so this way it wont take as long.

We have to be ready by 1:30 and she would start at 9:30. She doesn't bring an assistant. If she did it would be a lot more money. Also I want all of my bridal party to be with me the day of when we are all getting married. We'll see, this thing still makes me crazy!
