Which look do you girls prefer with a strapless gown? An up do, or down? And do you have pics to show me why? I really can not make this decision for some reason!!!

Re: Hair Choices
Up-Do's will definitly stay put...half up/half down is never guaranteed. Plus if your wearing a strapless, you can show it off better with an up do :o)

Re: Hair Choices
Here's what I think:
If your gown has a fuller skirt, go for the updo-I like when there's that dimension of a ballgown/A line and all the hair up.
If your gown is more fitted-I think half up/down. Because if a dress has a stronger shape (a'la mermaid or trumpet) then the hair should be softer.
So play up your hair off the shape/silhouette of your gown.
That's JMO I'm a bit style obsessed.

Re: Hair Choices
I think you do whatever makes you feel comfortable - I am wearing half up and Half Down I have a strapless - Full bottom - I very rarely wear my hair all up so I why would i want to on my wedding day? I want to look somewhat kike myself - Like I said what ever makes you feel comfortable - So many people look back on their wedding pics and say what was I thinkking wearing my hair like that .. so it is up to you :) I suggest going to trials - I had 4 of them

Re: Hair Choices
i read somewhere that brides tend to do the opposite of what they normally do on the wedding day..
so if u always wear ur hair back..that brides do the opposite on the wedding but they should stick to what they normally do...so if u tend to where it down go half up or something like that..
what the hell do i know im wearing it all back just to get it off my back lol

Re: Hair Choices
I wore an Eve of Milady strapless ballgown with gold embroidery for my wedding and wore my hair down. My hair was curly with rhinestone combs on both sides. **See pics in my wedding review** And for the reception, I did my hair half up. The soft & natural look works best for the ceremony leaving the reception for the updo since you'll be moving around a lot. It def helps if your wedding takes place in the warmer weather.
