Hey there ladies. I am having a hair dilema and I'm hoping your opinions might help me make a decision.
I am a natural blonde. However, my hair hasnt been blonde for longer than a few months in the past 5 years.
In fact, for the majority of the past five years my hair has been fire engine red.
My mom maid me promise to not have it a 'weird' color for the wedding.
So now I'm stuck trying to figure out what to do.
I have not dyed my hair in over a year, hoping to grow out my natural color... it's a slow process. So, now I have to decide what to do. If i want to go back to blonde, it's going to cost me a ton of money, and honestly... it'd only stay blonde till i got home from the honeymoon, if it even lasted that long.
Here are a few differant pics of me with differant hair. What do you think I should do??
The first one is a bad photo, but it's my pure natural color.
The second one is what I look like now.
The third is me a few years ago as a blonde.
The fourth is me last year the night i dyed it black/burgandy.
The last photo is my favorite hair that i've had in the past five years. However, everyone keeps telling me not to dye it black for the wedding b/c i'm a natural blond and i'll want to look at photos in the future and see 'ME' not the 'me i was at that moment'
what should i do???

I like your hair color in the 3rd picture, I don't know what color you referred to it as in the polls

i REALLY REALLY like the color in the last pic - but i also like your natural blonde...
I'd say you look more STRIKING with the black....

I didn't put it in the polls, b/c right now it's blondish brown on top and blackish brown on the bottom b/c i'm growing out the black hair dye. It doesnt look AWFUL but its definitely not a color i'd want for my wedding.
But THANK YOU!! B/c you just made me feel so much better about myself. I have been hating my hair the past few weeks.

I love the black... i can't do JUST black, i'd do the deep red highlights with it. I love it, i feel like it makes my eyes pop, it turns heads, and I got more compliments on my hair when it was that color than i've ever gotten on any other shade. People thought i went to a salon and stuff when i did it in my cousin's kitchen! It was so soft and shiny...

i say blonde for the wedding for the reason your mom said... then i say after the wedding go back to black with burgandy highlights.. that looked hot!

Brown hair makes me sad. I like it on OTHER people, but I think spending the first half of my life as a blonde, and the rest as mostly a redhead... brown hair just doesnt have enough 'pizaz' for me... I dunno... I don't want it to sound like brunettes suck or have ugly hair or anything... brown just doesnt excite me.
I'd like a dirty blond with blond highlights but I don't think I can afford to get it done. I identify as a blond. I always say I'm a blond. I get weird looks when i say it now, since my hair is blackish brown lol

I also have some guilt.. b/c I know my mom and dad always picture me as a blond... and at least my mom has pictured me as a blond for my wedding. I also know my dad hated that i dyed it anything other than blond in the first place...
I hate that the wedding is becoming more about making everyone else happy... i mean, sure my hair would look striking and hot... but it might make my mom cry... and that'd be bad.

I have a totally differant option! hehe..
I would dye it black with burgandy or auburn highlights. Don't put seperate streaks of the highlight, just mix the black dye with either the burgandy or auburn dye. It gives it a natural look, and it looks multi-faceted (hehe I stole that from the Feria commercial)...It's beautiful!! My hair dresser did it for me and I am in LOVE!!
The reason I'm telling you is because I think you look really beautiful with the black hair, but I do think that the highlights/streaks give you that 'in the moment' look..where as if you just dye is dark all over with nice natural lookng highlights, it'll be a more timeless look.

I like pictures 3 and 5. If you are going for the natural look, I'd stick with 3. If you want a fun look, that isn't too crazy, go with 5.
