Can someone receommend a good hair colorist in NYC? I love the girl who cuts my hair and the salon, but the colorist I go to there hasn't been doing a great job, and I'd like to try someone new. I don't want to break the bank, but I'm willing to spend a little more for a job well done.

i go to Alice Salon on 70th & 2nd and I LOVE it. I go to the owner (Alice) but everyone in there is good (other friends use other people there). I had a hard time finding a somewhat reasonably priced salon in the city but I found her 2.5 yrs ago and would never go to anyone else.

Its such a cute salon and the girls there are so fun. They spent well over 3 hrs the week before my wedding to make sure my color was perfect and treated me like a princess. Good luck!

I go to Jason at the Ted Gibson Salon. He does a fabulous job. Really listens to what you want and is helpful if you aren't sure.
