hair dilemma...

soooo I have called to SO many hair places close to my house in Floral Park for the wedding day, but they are all either closed on Sundays in general, or are open all sundays, but closed on sunday of memorial weekend which is when my wedding is next year... I have makeup set up at the house already, but does anyone have recommendations for hair people that will travel to my house in Nassau County?

I'm using House of Makeup. They're based in NYC, but travel anywhere you need them to. They do hair and makeup, but if you only need hair, they can do that too.

would you mind sharing your quote? I am so stressed about finding hair/makeup people. between the high prices and trying not to look too 'prommy', i'm having a hard time finding someone!

I'm actually going to do my first make-up trial end of next month & hair trial for my engagement dinner in May..I will let you know if I end up liking them, they're both in LI and they do travel, but I'm traveling to them for the trials

My hair is really hard to manage and not just anyone can style it, especially with up dos so finding a place is going to be tough for me. Cets1290, I also plan on using Christina Amador! Her prices are pretty reasonable considering her resume! I'm just waiting for a special day to do my make up trial with her so I'm thinking maybe my birthday in about two weeks!

Had my makeup trial with Christina Amador on Friday and LOVE the makeup (attached a pic)- I also asked her for hair recommendations and she gave me contact info for Randi Ross www.Randirosshairdesign.com - She has good reviews online and she is good friends with Christina, so I think I will probably use her for hair.

wish I would've taken a before pic! but just to let everyone know, the lashes lasted the entire night and the airbrush looked just as good the next morning it was really amazing
