So, i ditched my old stylist and tried someone new last night- I have been trying to keep my hair long for a couple years and really do want it long for the wedding...
BUT i also wanted something a little different and the new stylist told me that i would have to cut a couple inches off to make it look that way. I decided to just go along with it figuring it would look better even if it was a little shorter...
Well... she took like 4 inches off and while i know that hair grows back i am really disappointed in how short it is!
On top of that now i am really worried that it won't be as long as i want for the wedding-
I just miss my hair...

I used to have really long and when I cut it to my shoulders I cried hysterically. Good luck and feel better!

Well you have almost a year to go - so that is good news. You could get extentsions - think jessica simpson! You should post some pics of a before and after. It may help to boost your confidence. I've always been a fan of shorter hair. I'm growing mine for the wedding and I HATE IT! I can't wait to get it cut! I used to have really short hair - spikey on top short, buzzed up the back short! While I don't think I will go that short again I will cut my hair as soon as the wedding is over!

Dont get nervous. If your hair does not grow back than you use the extensions. I had the temporary one for my wedding. I loved it so much that I bought it and now I use it all the time

it'll grow back...I have hair down to just about my butt usually, and my mom (who always cuts my hair) cut off about 4 inches...
but my hair is curly, so it all bounced up without the weight...so now it looks like it is shoulder blade length....
I feel the same way a little...but I know it will grow back in about 3 months...(my hair grows fast)
it'll grow back..you have a whole year!!!

Hair extensions could be sexy. I know it will grow back and if i wasn't having a wedding i might not have even thought about wanting to keep it long.
it just doesn't feel like me. but i'm feeling a little better now

I'm sorry you're not happy, but the good news is you have time before your wedding...the other good news is that often when you cut your hair, it grows back faster than it normally would - so maybe your hair will be even longer for the wedding!!!

I feel your pain. My hair stylest did the EXACT same thing. Now I can't find anything I like.
