Hair dresser help!!!

I have been going to my hair dresser for YEARS!!!! Since 5th grade. I absolutely love her but she cannot come to my house to do my hair for the wedding. I live in Syosset and she opened a shop out in Bayville about 2 years ago. She is the owner and says she cannot come to my house since she has to be at the shop to open it. I went ahead and made plans for another hair dresser to do my hair the day of.
My hair dresser has been under the impression that she is still doing my hair but I dont know how to tell her shes not. I have an appt on saturday with her and I know the wedding will come up again. My mom, sister and one of my other BMs all use her salon and are going there the day of so she is still getting the business.

I just dont know how to tell her I will be getting ready at home.....plus I dont want her to give me a bad haircut on saturday out of spite.

That's a tough spot! I think that it will be fine, especially since you asked her first. If she asks about it again I would just explain to her that she was your number one choice, but it is important to you to get ready at home, and you wish she could do your hair, but going to Bayville the day of your wedding just isn't what you planned. I ran into the same type of problem, but they were very understanding. I'm sure it will be fine, especially since other people are going to use her for that day!

I doubt she'll be vindictive out of spite.

I would just tell her that you're going to someone else.

You never know, she might have her next in command open up the place and come to you the day of.
