hair extensions?

Ladies,
I reallywant my hair curly and half up/half down for the wedding.... right now it's just touching my shoulders... (i had cut it short right before we got engaged in October, doh!)... thinking about extensions.... My hair is red though and I wonder how close of a match they can get.... and how real do they feel? how much $ are they?and which vendors do them? thanks!!

I got human hair CLIP IN extensions - they can be dyed if you don't feel the color comes close enough. Definitely get human hair extensions, though, so it comes out like your hair will when it's curled. I thought they seemed a little courser than my own hair, but with all the 'stuff' they put in your hair (gel, hairspray, etc...) your own hair feels pretty rough when they're done. I loved the way they looked and so did my FH. All of the verndors I contacted did clip in extensions. I paid too much for mine (according to the vendor who did my hair) they're $236 but there's a 15% off coupon on the site (FM me if you can't find the code, I have it somewhere)- I didn't know where else to get them - I bought them before I came onto LIW.
