I met with my hair dresser tonight and she recommended that I purchase hair extensions and told me where to get them. They are obviously closed now so I was wondering if you guys wouldn't mind sharing how much they cost you? These are human hair extensions.

Re: Hair Extensions
I was told to go to Sallys Beauty Salon to get human hair extensions. They are supposed to be about 100 dollars. My hair person said do not get Jessica Simpson's brand.
Oh and she said...if you spend less than 100 on the extensions, they will not look real and if you want to curl them, they will not hold up. JHO (Just Her Opinion)

Re: Hair Extensions
I bought human hair extensions from a beauty supply place across from the Walt Whitman Mall. There were not more than $30 for a pack (I only used one pack). I also bought the clips there that my hairdresser recommended. My hairdresser sewed the clips into the extensions, and curled them before the wedding, but I did have to pay her extra for that. If I had more time she was going to show me how to do it; she said it wasn't hard. I would NOT spend $300 on them!! Everyone thought it was my own hair so the quality was great. Good luck!

Okay, I need you to teach me how to sew those babies 'cause I'm already spending a good amount on hair and makeup.

Re: Hair Extensions
I used extensions for my wedding to add fullness to my hair. It all depends on the quality of the hair you purchase. It also depends if you are getting the clip in ones or the ones they clamp on with little beads. I decided to go with the best ones since it was for my wedding and I wasnt sure if I was going to leave them in for the honeymoon. The curl lasted all day though and they were definitely well worth the money. You should also find out from your hairdresser how much hair she thinks you need. I had over 200 strands of hair in my head

Re: Hair Extensions
I bought mine from a place in Amityville Village. They are human hair and it cost about $45. Its the stands and you cut from the long strands how much you need. But My question for everyone else is what kind of clips do you use to sew ona nd where do you get them and how do you do it?? I had a trial with teh extensions and I loved them, I was just afraid they would fall out? Maybe the clips would help a lot more too?
