Re: Hair Extensions

i did the clip on extensions bc i didnt want to deal with real extensions on the HM. Had real extensions in the past and takes alot longer to wash and dry so thats why i didnt want it for hm. Also just about every bride on here also did clip on extensions for day of.

My hairstylist provided the extensions, but not all do so definitely ask the hairstylist about it, i didnt get charged extra for them, some ive seen on here said they had to purchase it from their hairstylist but prices werent bad. Otherwise ask someplace they know about where they like the hair and can get you a good price. Make sure its real human hair otherwise wont curl or if its half human hair wont hold a curl well.

If you booked hair stylist for day of then i would call her and ask her first. If not i would wait until you book somebody before deciding bc they just might provide it for you and you wont have to go and buy it.

This is my hair with the extensions, more pics in album

here it is with the wind blowing

I can tell you that I wish I did. Looking at pics now, although I liked my hair, I would have liked to have more of it.

Re: Hair Extensions

you have some diff options- semi permanent (can last up to around 3-6 mos) or clip ins. if youre just looking for that day-of-fix, just do clip ins. ask your stylist if they have some for you to use or if they sell them. roseanna amador did my hair and she has her own line of 100% human hair clip ins, great quality and i had those in day-of. Couple hundred, but worth it I think since you can re-use. You can contact roseanna if youre interested. if you want more info on semi-permanent, feel free to FM me.

I used them long day of and then cut and dyed them to match my darker hair for anniv pics.

i plan on doing them, not sure if they will be the clip in or the semi-permanent-depends on what the person doing my hair suggests. My hair is not that full and i definitely want the fullness look for the day of

Re: Hair Extensions

I am using them... Real human hair... clip in kind.
My hair dresser told me where to go and I purchased them myself. I had to buy to sets of hair because I have brown hair with lighter highlights so I had to buy brunette hair and blonde hair. My hair stylist is going to sow pieces of the blonde into the brown so it looks like high lighted brown hair.... Each waft of hair cost me 75 so with both and the clips... I think it came to about 175. I can re-use them again if I want.
My hair trial with the extensions is going to be $125 instead of the $85 without extensions (ugh)... Day of hair is $165 and up and then an additional 50 to 75 with the extensions...
Kills me to think about it lol.... I'm pretty sure my hair is costing about the same amount as my dress....
