Hair Extensions

Hair Extensions

What do you ladies think about this. I am torn because I would love to have long wavy hair for my wedding, but I could never have long wavy hair in real life so I would need extensions.

Do you think it is tacky to get extensions for the wedding? (honest opinions please)

I don't think it's tacky. As long as you get good ones that match your haircolor as close as possible you should be ok. I would get them if I needed them. My hair is forever long, it doesn't hold curls so I'm going to have to put it up. I don't wnat to have to deal with flat hair...I'll freak out.

I am getting extension as well. I have very thin curly hair and I want full volume that day. I plan to have my hair loose and wavy but being my hair is thin, I need extension to be able to hold the curls and wavys. I already spoke with my hairdresser and she told me about a 3 week extension. Have you spoken with your hairdresser about this. my told me it will be like 200 which isn't so bad and you can have them for the HM.

I don't think it's tacky at all if it comes out looking natural. Not the clip ons you buy at the dollar store.

I did extensions for my cousins wedding (so did she) and will probably do them for mine.. She is my hair dresser so she turned me onto them... I do the glue-in extensions.. they last up to a week or 2 depending on how you wash your hair.. or you can dump a bottle of conditioner on them the next day and they slide right out lol.. they are the best.. Def not tacky, espeically if you get them colored to your exact hair.. I got mine highlighted once and now have them for whenever I need.. Recommend having a professional put them in tho!

I dont think they're tacky either. If my hair doesn't grow the length I want it to by the time of the wedding, I'm going to get extensions too!!

So Im in the same boat as you!

I dont think it's tacky. As long as the extensions are natural looking and match your hair you will be fine. My SIL used the clip in extensions (she got them from Sally beauty store) for her wedding and the MOH had them in as well, and you could never tell. They looked great. I am planning on doing the same, just because I was thick curls for the wedding.

I'm not a fan at all of hair extensions. I can always tell when someone has them in their hair, regardless of whether or not they match well with your natural hair.

If you can't grow your hair to be long and wavy, is there another hair style you would consider to work better with the hair you have?
