What do you ladies think about this. I am torn because I would love to have long wavy hair for my wedding, but I could never have long wavy hair in real life so I would need extensions.
Do you think it is tacky to get extensions for the wedding? (honest opinions please)

I am getting extension as well. I have very thin curly hair and I want full volume that day. I plan to have my hair loose and wavy but being my hair is thin, I need extension to be able to hold the curls and wavys. I already spoke with my hairdresser and she told me about a 3 week extension. Have you spoken with your hairdresser about this. my told me it will be like 200 which isn't so bad and you can have them for the HM.
can you give me some more info on this 3 week extension??
I can give you my hairdresser name and number and you can ask her but she based in astoria queens... Let me know-
Hi sorry to crash. I am based in Queens as well. I am looking for a good hair stylist who does extensions and who comes to my house the day of my wedding. Will she come to the house the day of the wedding? TIA

Re: Hair Extensions
Ladies..semi perm. extensions are SOOO bad for your hair...they actually can contribute to hair loss...best bet for bigger fuller hair, is either a wig, or a fall...and at the same price, if not a few dollars more expensive, the better way to go

Re: Hair Extensions
i dont think hair extensions are tacky - i actually got them for my senior prom. i do agree with some of the girls though - i felt like my hair got messed up afterwards. and boy was it itchy! also, i thought it only looked good for less than a week - after that, they had to come off. Plus it hurtssssssss to get them in!

Re: Hair Extensions
what kind of extensions are you girls using that they hurt to put in and take out? Hair Locs are the most extensions on the market right now. they use no glue or binding products and you don't need nail polish remover to take them off. its just a loc that holds your hair in place to the extension. and it definately doesn't hurt to put them on or off. you can use the hair for up to 2 years - depending on hoe well you take care of it. what are you ladies wearing?

i got it done a looooooooooong long time ago. i went to a salon where they braided a thin braid accross the middle of my back and they sewed the extensions through the tight braids - so these i couldnt take off freely.
