Re: Hair Extensions???
Hi! I have really long hair but its doesn't have a lot of volume. I looked around for a good stylist that deals with hair extensions and found her!
Her hair extensions are real hair and various lengths. The length I needed is 20 inches and it will cost $250-300 depending on how many panels I need that day. Plus, I get to keep them, and they can be washed, blown and styled since they are real hair not synthetic.
The panels are clipped in, sort of like a hair clip. It snaps into place and does NOT move. I've had extensions in before but I am hoping that since I am getting panels rather than a whole piece (Panels are like strips of hair) it won't weigh me down like the other one did. It can get heavy and give you a headache if it is the whole piece and not put in correctly.
I would say ask your stylist if you can try it for a day and see how you feel. The last thing you want is to be uncomfortable on your wedding day. However, the last thing I also want is to have limp hair halfway through the night haha
Good Luck!!

Re: Hair Extensions???
I also have very thin and my hair stylist, Angela from Angela's hair designs bought me one package of clip-ins for $80. They are awesome and I still use them for other events.
I did the clip in extensions and they were GREAT! they were only 60.00 and I took them out after the wedding...They lasted ALL day, dancing and all. At the end of the night I even put my hair up bc I was hot and it stayed. My friend had the glued in ones and didn't like them.
You can see my wedding day pics to see the extensions.
FM if you have any questions.

Re: Hair Extensions???
I am having the same dilemma! I am definetely going to do hair extensions.. I just haven't decided if I am going to do clip-in's the day of, micro beads, or the glue in. :/

Re: Hair Extensions???
The clip ins look great if you just want the extensions for day of. If you're looking to have them for a while I would definitely say the microbeads. The actual hair should last about a year if you're getting good hair and they will just move the links up every 3 months (otherwise your hair will tangle and that's when it could become damaging). I live out of state and can't recommend someone who does them on LI but make sure who ever you use is very experienced in that method! The initial application usually cost about 1000 and maintenance is about 300.

Re: Hair Extensions???
Clip ins are great! You should have your hairstylist clip them in during the trial, make sure it's 100% human hair and it should be around $85

Re: Hair Extensions???
the beauty supply places do not carry extentions that match my hair :( i guess i could get them dyed but i feel that will damage the hair and they wont last as long. A girl on here suggested a website called proextentions.com and im seriously considering ordering from there soon. they have great reviews and the hair looks really nice. They also have a color wheel that can be sent to you so u can match ur hair, send the wheel back and the money goes toward your purchase. Plus free shipping!

Re: Hair Extensions???
Hi everyone! I am new to the site and LOVE it! I can stop! Anyway, this is my first message!! I love hair extensions!
I am too going with hair extensions and did a lot of research. If you're in Nassau I decided with Head Rush in Williston Park. They gave me a great deal. Hope this helps. Good Luck! :)
