Hair help!

I desperately need suggestions for a hair trial. Tarale was available for my date, but she's so expensive. What should I expect for a hair trial and the day of? Should I just pay the $50 bucks for a trial with her and spend the money? Or do you have anyone cheaper I could set a trial with? I live in Suffolk, so please help me out!

Expect hair trials to be around $50. did you try Mya at Cosmetic Artistry? She charges $100 for Brides, $65 for BM and her trials are $55. I havent seen any hair stylists cheaper than that. Also, do you want the hair stylist to come to you the day of? If not, I'm sure you can find updo's for much cheaper if you get your hair done at a beauty salon. Good luck!

I was surprised as well when I found out how much trials were. I second Mya. She's very nice to work with and she'll come to you. I live in Suffolk too and she came to my house.

First of all - Tarale is not the only hair stylist on the face of the earth ! So don't 'worry' about not booking w/ or even having a trial w/ her. - I'm sure she does a beautiful job - but seriously, there are a million other stylists who are capable of an updo !!
I'm pretty sure ANY trial is going to be pricey - maybe slightly less than the day of - they ARE doing you hair......

Do you have a friend who's good w/ the whole hair/makeup thing? Maybe you can have someone play around (or do it yourself - I have zero idea/talent when it comes to this!) But you'll have an idea of what you like and what you don't - even it it's something as simple as 'I don't like a side part' - or 'my hair is too heavy to have a high updo' you know ?? That way, you won't have to go to 4 or 5 trials to find something you love.....you'll already have a pretty good idea and it may take only 1 !

I really love my Farrah! She's at Salon De le Jour on Main St. in Patchogue! But- I think she might be $$$! Can't remeber! Haven't had my hair up do'd in a while! Everyone I have ever recommended her to and used her loved her work!
