Hair & Make-UP 2nd Trial

I went for a 2nd H&MU trial. All I wanted is to cry. ..

I don't think that I'm asking too much.. I wanted a simple and elegant up-do and natural look on mu... my expectation at the end of the trial was to know the exact look that I'll have on my day.

However, it didn't come close. I've spent over $300 total on my 1st and 2nd H&MU trials.

All this disappointment puts me on an urgent hunt for H&MU artist/stylist becuse I don't have much time.

Could you help recommend someone who you know is good and nice.. professional and reliable.

I have 4 BMs so, total of 5 people including myself.

I would recm'd Mia from Bridal Lounge...she just did my wedding on Sunday, and did my mom's MU, 2 BM's Hair & MU, and another BM's hair...she was fantastic...a little on the pricey side...but well worth it.

For hair, I really recommend Maria from Concours D'elegance.

I've only been to ONE trial after viewing several pics, and let me tell you she's amazing - I booked her right away.

You have to tell her EXACTLY the look you're going for..., and try to take a pic with you...
You won't be disappointed!

Have you tried your local salon?
That's where I am going, and it's pretty inexpensive.
I would go with an exact photo of what you want.,
Here's where I get confused when girls say they don't like their trial.
To me, and when I go, a trial will not be 1 attempt, but they had better try until they get it right.
If an updo, any day, costs $45, and a trial costs $65, then they better work with me, and trial my hair until I like it.
Is that wrong?

I second Jacqueline Nicole for make-up and I am using Sarah Rock from Gorgeous Faces for hair- both vendors on here

Definitely Jacqueline Nicole - I also wanted a VERY natural look that no one seemed to understand but her...she worked with me and took off and lightened whatever I asked her too.
She is under 'vendors' - you can find her info there.

you can try diana for hair. she was great and listened to what i said. as far as makeup, i haven't a clue. i can tell youthat it is highly likely that oksana is booked...she was already booked for my wedding in january...wish i could help more.

Sorry date twin... i'm using Mia.

Definitely just try to contact all the vendors listed on this site and do a search on wedding channel, google, etc for Long Island wedding makeup. I hope you find someone you love!!!
