HAIR & MAKE-UP

I've been starting to the about my wedding hair & make-up...

When is a good time to start the trials?

The wedding is May 23rd, 2010. So that's none months away...

Also, I was wondering, does anyone know of anyone good for either or both hair and make-up? Can you recommend anyone?

I need someone who is will come to the hotel in Riverhead--maybe a couple of people who could also do the family and bridal, if they so desire. Maybe give them the option.

Now is a good time to start. Jacqueline Nicole is in Smithtown and she does makeup. I think Nicole D'Angio lives in Mt Sinai and she does hair. They are both pretty close to Riverhead so they may not charge you extra travel fees. They are also reputable according to this website.

Try contacting Maira Ortiz she is awesome and does both hair and makeup. She also has a website MairaOrtiz.com she is fabulous. My trial pics are in album.

I'm also getting married at Giorgio's and getting ready at HIE in Riverhead. I just did a trial with M-I-A. My friend and I booked her on the spot. She is truly talented and is traveling there (no fee).

I used Nicole D'Angio--she will travel. She did a fantastic job on my mom, my sister, and me. Everyone raved about our hair. She can copy any picture you give her and she also had her own good ideas. She has a website on here.

Danielle Minella did our makeup-'A More Fabulous You' on LIW w/ a website. And again, an awesome job. She has a lot of great experience and travels.

start trials now. im getting married a week after you and i booked my artist this past may. get a few trials now so u know which artist u want to book with, then right before your wedding i would get another trial and use your head piece. you may change the style u want by the time next may comes around

I would start checking people out now. Especially since your wedding is the start of 'summer wedding' madness. I booked my girl about 6 months before.
