I can't believe it's 150 days until my wedding!! I feel like I still have so much to do. Does anyone have any suggestions for hair and makeup?? Thanks in advance ladies!

Hello date twin! Okay, not to bum you out, or freak you out for that matter...but I thought I had plenty of time to do this...so I called a whole bunch of makeup people...Mia is booked on our day, so is Jacqueline Nicole, and Oksana. I am using Melinda Makeup. I also called Elena's bridals, she was very nice on the phone, but I already booked Melinda by the time she got back to me. Don't wait any longer, make some calls. Like I said, I thought I had time, but all the makeup artists that get high recommendations on here were already booked.

I actually had the same problem too. sorry...I would def. jump on it. I always thought I would do my makeup and hair trial 2 weeks before the wedding...but...everyone would be booked. I was lucky to get Jacqueline Nicole becuase my date twin's wedding was calle off.

I just had my make up and hair trial with Happily Ever After.. She was awesome to work witha nd her prices are pretty decent!! There are pics in my album!!! oh yeah.. her name is Carmela!

OH NO!! lol. And here I thought I was on top of things! Whats even more difficult is that I am planning my wedding from out of state. Do I need to do a hair and makeup trial before I book them? LOL....now what am I going to do?! Maybe I could run into macy's in the a.m on my wedding day for a free makeover...hahaha. j/k

Seriously though...you never know...I'm just saying you may want to start calling around. ...and to answer your question....you don't have to do a hair and makeup trial before you book them.

HAhaha.. thats funny .. Hey you could give that a try.. I don;t know. this was my second trial becuase I wasn't really crazy about everyhting on my first one.. so Me myself being a type A personality - needing everyhting to be just so.. would go on a trial.. but if you feel comfortable booking over the phone.. you can look in my album.. actually I will post you some pics of the work she did on me.. she did exactly what I wanted.. Ok I am having trouble posting them.. I will try later

Our reception is at Brentwood Country Club.
I strongly recommend that you do a trial before you book someone. A friend of mine wasn't going to, and all of my friends and I convinced her to and it was a good thing she did because she hated the way the girl did her makeup. I was going to do my own makeup too, but I was concerned about it lasting and looking good in pics, so I decided to splurge a little and have my makeup done by someone who does brides. That is they key, because anyone can do a nice makeup job, but you want someone who has done brides before b/c they know how it needs to look. Hope that is helpful...can you schedule a trial during a visit to your family or something?
