hair/makeup at a salon

I found a great place that myself and all 5 BM's can go the day of the wedding and get our hair and makeup done. I was going to have someone come to the house by I am afraid that time will be an issue. At the salon its 55-75 for hair, average 65 and 45 for makeup and its one on one. I think may better. any thoughts? Oh and its august so its going to have the AC cranking. Unless my parents put central air that is another problem.

I think that is a great idea; in fact, that's what I am going to try to do (if the salon will open for us at 6AM!). We did that for my sister's wedding (a looooong time ago) and found that the lighting was best to do our makeup, and we all got done quickly.

my ceremony isnt until 630 pm, we are doing pics first, so we need to be done by 1pm. Katherine Jon is PJS

I think its a great idea! I think its easier to go to a salon than have people come to your house...JMO though
