Hair & makeup depression

I went for a trial hair and make up today and it was aweful. I brought a picture of the hair I want (it was realistic, it was not like a Pantene ad) and the girl did not even come close and on top of that, said 'well I can make it look like that on the wedding day'. Obviously not if you cant do it now. And she didn't try to fix it. It was aweful. The make up was plain and not my coloring. Even my FH (who never has a fashion opinion) said I look better when I do my everyday make up. SO depressed about a waste of my time and money (mainly money). Can anyone suggest someone for my next trial who will travel to the hotel Im getting ready at and listen to what I want?

That really stinks! The waste of money is what would make me the most annoyed! I am using Stacy Doolan for makeup and Angela's Hair Design for hair. Highly recommend both and both are traveling to the hotel where my girls are I are getting ready day of.

Aww, that really sucks. Sorry you had such a bad experience.

For makeup, I am using Nadine Vasquez. I also used her for my engagement shoot and she did a great job and was really nice. I have a before/after shot in my wedding stuff album from the e-shoot. She also does light hairstyling so you can always inquire about that with her as well. Maybe she can do the style that you want. Her prices are also great! Here is her website: Click Me

Im using Christy Ann for my Make up and Dusti from Fire Monkey Hair for hair. They both travel.

I'm sorry things didn't go the way you wanted sweetie! Look on the bright side, you know NOW that she is awful and not on the most important day of your life....I know it cost money...but she did you a favor!

That's horrible but atleast you found out now. I'm using Angela's Hair Designs and Divine Artistry for make-up. They are friends and can both travel to you. If you look up their website or facebook pages, you will see pictures that speak for themselves.
