I'm getting married at the Westbury Manor in July but I live in Suffolk county. i was originally planning on getting my hair and makeup done near my home and then travelling in to our RH. But now I'm thinking that since it will most likely be hot and humid out, my hair might fall and my makeup might melt by the time the ceremony starts. Now I think it might be better if I find someone who does hair and makeup who can come to my RH before the ceremony or if I could find a salon that does both hair and makeup near by the Westbury Manor. Any suggestions?

Hi Grace...Im not sure if she's still open for you date, but it doesnt hurt to try....Mia from Bridallounge...she did my makeup trial and i loved it, and shes done so many brides on here. Her trials are in Bethpage...right around where me and Adam work. She will travel to you on the day of. HTH.

carmella from happily ever after, a vendor on here. SHe travels and also does it on her home right in east meadow. She does both hair and makeup. If you want to get ready at thome though I think you'll be fine. My sister got ready at 6 am on a 90 degree day and she looked the same at 5pm thanks for airbrush makeup!

I've never been to this salon but I hear really great things about the maximuus salon in the source mall. I believe they do hair and make-up
