Hair / Makeup - Near the Roosevelt Field!

Hi Girls-

So I'm starting to do some research into makeup and hair stylists out on LI. I live in Queens, but we're staying at the new Hyatt Place Garden City right across the street form the Roosevelt Field for the night before and the night of the wedding.

Anyone have any suggestions on places to go or people who would come do hair/makeup from a local salon? Maybe even suggestions for make-up people from the mall? I have no idea where to even start out there!
