So at my sisters suggestion I just called the salon near my parents house that we used to go to before they all got married and i moved back to queens to see if the girl that did our hair is still there. WELL she IS - I don't know why I thought she had left but the best part is I spoke to her, and she's going to do my hair and it's a total tradition - she did all of our hair for all 3 of my sisters weddings!!! I'm SO excited - I haven't seen her in years AND she's right down the block from my mom's so it's perfect and I won't be spending $200 on hair now (no offense to mia, she's awesome)!!! I'm SO SO happy - I'm going to pop in on her in a few weeks!!!
So with her I will do multiple trials til i get it right!!

so hopefully these post... this was from my trial last week. I think the makeup is okay - i'm having a day wedding so i didn't want super dramatic. the lips were really a dark nude though they look orange in the pic... I don't think i like the hair. I took it half down in the last pic to see what it would look like. If they don't all post they are in my album. I kind of hate my face - it looks so long! so i don't know what hairstyle will look good. i wanted curls but i look like an overgrown ugly little girl... oh my hair will be longer for the wedding... i'm growing it out.
HONEST opinions/suggestions? I have another makeup trial but I think hair will be more of the issue for me.
love the make-up it looks really natural and shimmery- if you are not happy with the hair- I would ask her to do another trial for you- but it looks nice

I LIKE THE make up, it looks pretty but yeah maybe a different lip color would give you a bit of a different look.
if youre not happy with the hair let them know and see what they can do

I think it looks pretty, but I would go with a more sheer color on the lips. You have GORGEOUS eyes! The hair is pretty too, but if you are unsure, have another trial so you feel confident its what you want.

I think you look really pretty. Your eyes are beautiful.....If you have concerns about your hair then you should think about having another trial done. I'm sure she'll be able to get the look that you want.

thanks... she's a little expensive so I might check out the salon near my mom's and see if they are cheaper (just for hair).
i am tempted to wear my hair down and straight like i normally do but how boring is that? and my friend did that and it did not look good in pictures. i just wish my face didn't look so long.

Love the natural look with the make up & I agree with everyone that you should definitely do another hair trial if you are truly not happy with the way hat it looks...

I don't know why you are being down on yourself, you are gorgeous!!!! I like the makeup and the hair- I could understand the color of the gloss- that is an easy fix. As far as the ahir, I think it looks nice, I am just not feeling that one curl that comes long in the back- if that was pinned up higher I think it would look better. All in all it is really with what you feel comfortable with, trials are a time to play and I don't think it's possible to get it right the first time without some playing around.

I got my hair done like that for my sister's wedding a few years ago .. and honestly, I didn't love it either. But the makeup's great!

I LOVE honest opinions. Thanks everyone. Honestly, if I can help it i don't want to do a ton of trials - but I know i need at least one more hair trial. I'm not the type to shop around for this stuff. I'm hoping once my hair is longer and i actually have my dress I will get a better idea of what i want.

i think the hair is very pretty!!! very whimsical and its up but not stiff!!! i like it!!! but if u dont go for another trial!!!! and ur makeup looks very natural and i like the shimmer
