Well, just wasted $60 bucks today on my hair trail! I was sooooooo disappointed I told her that I was disappointed too.......I feel bad becuase it's a friend of a friend who works in a salon........
Anyways, this is what I WAS going for:
And THIS is what I got
The hair pin isn't even straight!!!! It looks NOTHING like the picture. I'm not even going to post what the front looks like......it's just horrible!!!!
Now to the makeup. I asked her to make it a natural look with a little bit of a dramatic effect. This is what it it ended up looking like:
The eyeshadow is SOOOOOOOO heavy!!! I just HATE it...AND it's PURPLE!!! I don't wear PURPLE!!!! I told her browns and beiges....
I'm just upset because I was soooo excited about going today and seeing what it all looks like together. Now I am just depressed completely.
I have to look for another Makeup person AND hair person.............

Sadly, I DID show her the pictures of the style I was wanting....that's what made it worse. If you look at the trial pic of my hair, you can kind of see th pictures sitting on her station table to the left of my face.........So yes, she knew exactly what I wanted
Maybe she just thought that since it was a trial, she didn' t really have to do a good job.......who knows what her reasoning is..........

The hair is terrible, I would have fought about even paying her the full $60. That's ridiculous. The makeup isn't as bad.

good for you for speaking up for yourself! It's not terrible, but if it's not what you want, then it's better you know now than on your wedding day. Wish I had a suggestion who to go to. Good luck!!

Sorry it didn't turn out the way you wanted it. She should've put more effort into your hair. You have to tell them how you feel though. You dont want to be disappointed on your big day either.

OMG your hair and what you wanted look NOTHING alike How hard is it?? I mean, if you cant reproduce a picture of what someone wants dont waste their time or money Your make up looks very pretty, but I understand what youmean about it not being what you want-good luck and I hope you find someone to do what you want
