Hair/MUA quotes

Hey ladies:

I found a hair/mua that I want to consider but I just want to know quotes of similar vendors. I'm getting hair and airbrush makeup for $375 my bridesmaids for hair and airbrush is $175. Does this seem like a good quote? I'm getting airbrush so I just want to make sure before I commit if I'm getting a decent deal. Thanks in advance!

my girls are paying $70 for airbrush and $60-70 for hair depending on the style... I think $175 is really high for hair/makeup for the bridesmaids personally... I would say $150 should be the max for both of the girls unless you plan on paying a little towards their hair/makeup or giving them the option to do their own makeup so they can save a little $$

With my experience, the bride would require hair and give us the option for makeup. I always did both hair and makeup, and never spent more than 140-150ish on both services

Thanks! Yeah I'm not going to require them to have hair done by the vendor I select but airbrush makeup I really want all the girls to have I forgot to mention airbrush alone is $85 still slightly higher then the quote u have.

$175 for BMs is a little higher than I found when I was looking. Most of the places I contacted BMs total came to about $150. As for bridal hair and makeup, I think it really varies based on what you want. I received quotes that were the same and quotes that were almost $100 +lower. If your BMs are definitely in for hair and makeup I would maybe find a place that would give you a discount for guaranteeing a certain amount of people. I know my friend did that for her wedding and her makeup ended up like costing nothing since she not only had BMs but her mom and mil in on it as well. Good luck!

$85 isn't too bad for airbrush, but I bet if you have a large bridal party you can get that down to like 70 or 75 per person... especially since you said you'll require them to do makeup so you can guarantee a decent amount of people to the makeup artist that way :)
