I want to wear my hair half up and half down, so I havent bought my headpiece yet.. My question is:
Should I get my hair trial before I buy a headpiece? I dont know if a tiara would look good with a half up hairdo, or if I should get some kind of big clip/comb thing instead..I am so confused!

I would ask your stylist what type/style she recommends but try to get it before the trial...

i didnt' know what i wanted for my hair, but i had an idea of what i wanted for a tiara, so i got the tiara first. there's really no exact science to it as far as i know.... good luck!!

I got my tiara first, too. I also wanted half up, half down- but I had a lot of trouble with it because of my tiara.
My advice would be find a hairstyle first, and get your headpiece to fit it.

I have my headpiece, but I'm very undecided about my hair, I just got my last real 'haircut' and she cut off a few inches so now I'm letting it grow.. I know I want it up, but I don't know what type of style I want yet, FH is not that much taller than me, so I don't need any added height!!!!! I would ask your hairdresser first!

I fell in love w/ a headpiece. So I tried it w/ my hair in all different styles. I was lucky that mine looked well in all styles. I wore my hair 1/2 up & it was a tiara.
