Hair Person in NYC

Looking for a hairdresser in the city , anyone have one ? I thought I had found one but he was way too much $$$.

also depending on what you want...most salons in the city operate differently...many salons people who do color JUST do color and people who cut and style JUST do that. You have colorists and stylists

Thanks girls , well the guy I had found wanted to charge me $600 FOR JUST MY HAIR ! First he was going to do makeup and hair but I told him I only wanted him to do my hair so he knocked off a hundred ? I was willing to pay a little more for him because he is very good but for $600 you have got to be kidding !

I really don'yt know what is average for bridal hair ... i know its not $600

oh you mean for day of wedding...Yes most salons will charge at least $500 for both...some much higher and thats just getting it done there. I am using maureen and claudia pedala who are located in manhattan and for city stylists they charge lower than most of them.

Yeah I figured 500-600 for both hair and makeup ...but just hair ? I didnt like that he only knocked off a hundo for makeup ?
