Hair Pins in NYC (Midtown Preferred)

I work on Park and 47th and want to take a look during my lunch hour for hair pins.

I will specifically need something gold w/pearls or rhinestones - but definitely GOLD.

Try Alpha Veils on 38th (I think) between 5th and 6th. It's on Lord & Taylor's street, on the south side of the building.

I bought my hair pins there, but I wasn't looking for gold, so I wouldn't have noticed if they had them.

They have lots of stores in the 37, 38, 39th Streets vicinity between 5th and 8th Aves. You are bound to find something there. I know that on 39th between (I think) 7th and 8th on the North side of the street, there is a store with beautiful hair stuff and accessories. Sorry, but don't know the name.

ETA: Or you can try Ricky's on 5th Ave. and (I think) 45th Street.

I would try Claire's! I got my hair clips there. But at the Brooklyn one, on 86th street by Century 21.

I recommend a place on 6th that used to be called Grace. I think they changed their name since I got married but they are still there - on the corner of 36th. They have great stuff at a reasonable price. I got my hair pins from them.

i go there all the time they have the best stuff the prices arent too bad either......
