ok so 16 days before my wedding i decide to call my hair girl and find out prices... no idea why i din't ask on day of trial... i just figured cause the trial was fairly inexpensive that the day of would be fine... well i'm ONLY getting my hair curled with soft waves... no updo of any sort and i can stick the veil in my head myself... and she quoted me a price that i think is rediculous...not sure what to do... might just cancel her and do my own hair... no prob

Re: hair prices
try buying a set of hot rollers. they work much better than a curing iron.

i have no idea how to use them, and i definitely don't want to practice on the day of the wedding!

Re: hair prices
I thought that the average hair price was about $150 for the bride. That's about what I've been seeing so far.

Well you can always buy it before and practice. I think they cost $25 for a set.....
Also if you live in Queens you can try the asian hair places. They are super cheap. 25 for a down-do, 35 for an up-do...
I'm planning on going for a trial at one by my house...if it doesn't work out I'll end up going with my usual hair lady. Anyway you are such a beautiful girl as is.....so anything you do with your hair (pro or non-pro) will look fab!
