hair salon

does anyone know of a reasonably priced hair salon in queens or long island?

i love my hair dresser, but i desperately need a hair cut and i don't feel like spending $100. on a trim.

I go to Maria who works at Hair Effex in Bellmore its actually down the block from Lillette's on Bedford Ave. She is really affordable I get my hair cut, dyed and blown out for $81

I go to Gigi's in Astoria! Love them - it's about $45-$60 (depending on stylist) for wash, cut, and blow-dry. Thanks for reminding me, I need to set up an appt for this weekend.

Celtic Hair Design on Grand Ave. in Maspeth. All the girls do great work and it's so cheap for a haircut (like $25-$30 depending on what you want done).

Moda international in forest hills is where I go. They are really good and def under 100 for a trim.

Diane at La Cole Salon in Seaford. She has been my hairdresser for years and absolutely love her. Haircuts are $50

My woman is in a hole in a wall place, but she charges 15 and I look like movie star-like when I leave!!! Carmela's Fast Scissors in Corona. It's worth every damn penny and more.

no- i have seen 3 different people and they were all good- i just recommend someone in the $50 range and havent had a bad experience yet

Ewa's Beauty Salon in Maspeth - cut & blow dry is $35 and they do REALLY nice work.

I was so pleased that I'm going for a hair/makeup trial for the wedding in a few weeks :)
