Ok, so..... i was talking to this hairdresser about how i want my hair (blonde chunky highlights on my crown) and she said 'well, if you let me put blonde highlight extensions instead i'll do it for free if you let me use your picture for my website'
so i said 'ok' but of course i wont let her go unpaid....
how much should i tip her?!!!!!!!?!?!???????

well it depends. would you have done extensions anyway? That's not really the same as normal chunky highlights. Regardless, I would probably give 20% of what the service would cost. 25% if you think you would have gotten the service had it not been free.

I think that would be enough, but then again, it's hard to judge when you don't know how much the process is.

yeah... now im feeling i dont want her to do it! but i feel bad! i can just make an appointment with my moms stylist soon. i think id rather do that.. but now i feel bad

i know in my salon a partial head of highlights is $80 and a full head of highlights is $100- foil...... i know- the prices just went up..

yeah.. but its not actually highlights.. she putting in extensions rather than highlights. she said 'dont worry baout the money, i can do it this week' i think maybe if i tip her 50$ should be ok.
