I went for my hair trial tonight at ULTA and was disappointed. The back looked good with the curls but within a few hours the curls on the side had sort of fallen out. Plus I wanted a wispy bang in the front but I think there is too much hair. I kept telling her and showing her pictures but she just kept doing the same things. I don't know what to do. My wedding is only 25 days away. How am I going to find someone else in such a short time.
She was probably the only one of my 6 trials that could copy a picture and do my hair so that it stayed the way she set it, and stayed through anything.
She's super nice and I really recommend her, give her a call, she might be able to squeeze you in, she is very accomodating and will travel to you if she can.

I'm so sorry you are disappointed Have you tried any of the vendors on here? I booked with Carolyn (of Sabrina and Carolyn) and was very very happy I have heard great things about Denise Venti, Nicole D'Angio, Kacey from Khouloud's and Jenn the Hair Genie (works with Oksana for makeup). You are getting married on a Sunday which makes it easier to find someone too...GL

Just call around, you may find someone, and honestly, if you didn't like her, then you can't do worse, though I'm sure the pics would prove you looked fantastic!!!

Is there another salon you can try out? We all went to a salon and all the girls looked great and updos stayed in....just ask if they have someone who is good with an updo! you will find someone and look and feel beautiful!!

Try Borte Hair Salon and Day Spa in Northport or Smithtown. I have never been there, but I am thinking of having my girls go there for their hair. Here is their number in east northport:
