Hair trial

I hate the worst trial yesterday! I was so excited to go for my first one and I went to Salon 44 in Huntington since my make-up girl told me to try Danielle there. The picture I had is basically a glorified sock bun which I figured would be super easy. The girl was nice but the hair was TERRIBLE! It was so loose and messy (if you look at the picture on the bottom its super tight and slicked back)It can out almost immediately! On top of it all, it cost me.....$110!!!! That part is somewhat my fault for not asking the price before hand but I just assumed it would be around $60. All in all I hated the experience and wouldn't recommend the salon to anyone.

So sorry to hear about that. Did you let them know it came out and you were not happy? I would def say something cause that is a lot of money to spend! maybe they can set you up with a redo with someone else.(even if they wanna charge you a smaller fee)

Btw was the link a pic of you? If so- you did look amazing its a shame it didnt last!!!

Try Dusti at Fire Monkey.. she's $45 for her trials and does amazing work

Kim Castro of Bedford and Mane in Bellmore is amazing. She charged me $50 for a hair trial and only $20 for a makeup trial. And she knows hair...

Yeah, Kim Castro is awesome. I mean I haven't had my trial yet, but someone here recommended her to me so I just went for a haircut to meet her, and instantly clicked with her. She's awesome, and showed me a lot of great pictures of her work.
