Hair Trial Frustration....Help!

So, I have been on 5 hair trials so far and they were all horrible.
I have long hair and want it all curly with half back. I am not wearing a headpiece; just pretty rhinestone clips. The look I am going for is Jessica Simpsons hair the day of her wedding.
I am in Nassau County, does anyone have any Salon or hair stylist recommendations for me? Is anyone having the same style?
