Just curious, what is the average price for a hair trial? I was recommended to a new salon and I am considering making an appointment for a trial there but I'm not sure what to expect in terms of pricing.
Thanks, girls. The quote I got was $75 for just a hair trial. Would you girls pay that? I think it's a little pricey but I've heard fabulous things about this salon and specific hair dresser.

I think it's pricey - how much would it be to do your hair the day off if the hair trial is already $75 - would you be tipping?

i would pay it, a good hair person is hard to find, trust me, and its a lot cheaper than spending $40-60 each on 3 trials like i did

I'm sure I'd have to tip too. Hmm, I guess I'll have to call a few other salons and see. If it's only $15-20 more it might be worth it. The salon is called LaModa in E. Northport. Does anyone have any feedback??

I paid $50 for my hair trial. From what I've heard, that seems to be the norm. If you've heard great things about this particular hair stylist, then I say go for it! It's hard finding a good hair stylist, especially for the wedding.

I'm paying $150 for hair and makeup so I think $75 for hair is fair. My person is coming to my house to do the trial.

i was told you DON'T have to tip for your trials. they are trying to woo you and charging you on top of that, so according to MANY vendors i've talked to (including hair and makeup artists), they don't expect a tip for trials. btw...i paid 100 for my hair trial, so 75 doesn't seem so bad....but she did 5 different hairstyles, which i know that a lot of people don't do...
