Anyone have a hair trial with MIA from ************* and not love it?? I feel like i'm the only one who didn't like their trial with her? I thought the makeup was too dark and the half up half down hair style had really really tight curls. Just wondering if anyone didn't love her work...or am I the only one??

Did you tell her your concerns? I loved my trial, but I brought 3 pages of what I wanted and didn't. I am going to ask her to use a paler lip color, but other than that I was very happy! My FMIL gave me some very god advice, tell them what you want, like and don't like. We pay them so much money, we should get exactly what we want. If you liked the overall look, just want to tweak a few things, maybe you can discuss them with her or do a second trial, but you must be vocal! I have a very hard time with that but not that night!! GL, I hope you find what you are looking for!

I agree with the above poster - I brought Mia a few pages of printouts showing the type of curls I like and the types of makeup I like AND don't like. I told her what I really was going for and let her do her thing - she pretty much nailed it.
She also spent a LOT of time with me for my trial and kept trying to fix each curl and kept working on the makeup here and there. I mentioned that I wanted more coverage for my undereye circles and she did it. I also mentioned that I liked the corner of my eyes to be slightly 'cat-ish' because my eyes look sad normally, and she did it.
Did you tell her you thought the makeup was too dark and the curls too tight? Don't worry about not having liked it - you should be happy with the way you look on your wedding day!!! You should go for another trial to see if you get the results you want. I'm pretty sure Mia would do another one for you if you call/email her, but if you don't want to use her, have a trial with someone else.
