Hair Trial Question

I'll definitely want to get a trial for my hair, but I want to wait until a few weeks before the wedding when I know better what I want. Did you ladies have another trial with the hairdressers before making the appointment and giving a deposit? If not, how else did you choose?

I am going to my regular salon and have a trial on the 31st. Doesn't mean I have to go with her if I am not comfortable
