I just scheudled my trial is M*i*A, I have naturally very curly hair and i kinda want like big curls (not like my tight curls) for my wedding. She said to come with my hair blown out like I want it for the wedding. If I am going to do my hair like how I want it for the wedding before I get to the trial, doesn't that defeat the purpose of the trial?

Re: hair trial question
No she meant was to have it blown straight so she can start to curl it from that. Even the day of she doesnt wash and blow dry hair she just styles dry hair And if your hair is naturally curly she cant CURL already curly hair. It needs to start out straight, =)) HTH

This seems ridiculous to me. Arn't you paying them to do your hair?!

Ohhhh. This make sense. I would think they would straighten it for you...but maybe because it's so curly?

Re: hair trial question
No I have naturally straight/wavy hair and I had it blown out before the trial and before the day of. She does not wash and blow dry hair she styles it. Personally no its not ridiculous, shes not working in a salon, shes a stylist so she styles dry hair. Any hair trial I went out outside of a salon they told me the same thing.

Re: hair trial question
Since I rarely blow dry my hair and it is so thick and curly when I do blowdry it, it usually doesn't come out well. Maybe I can ask if she can blow it out for extra money?

They usually tell you to do it the night before so its slightly 'dirty'. Can someone help you blow it out the night before the trial? If not she might do it for you for extra money but prepare yourself to be there for a while.
If you do like the hairstyle I would suggest getting it blown out the night before your wedding at a local salon.

Re: hair trial question
My hair trial just said to come with hair natural- my hair is kind of wavy/frizzy, and although she didn't wash/dry it, she put some kind of product in to blow it out first at the trial. She did the same on the day of. I used Nicole D'Angio.
