I just booked my trail with M * I * A *. Is it weird to do a trail before I even have a dress?? I dont plan on looking for a dress until late summer/Fall, but didnt want to wait that long in case she gets booked up.
Did other girls do a trail without having a dress, hairpiece etc? And if you did, do you plan on doing another one prior to the wedding?

Re: Hair Trial Questions
i had my dress already! but I think you should be ok you can have different styles done to you up and downs! that way when you get your gown you can look back at your pictures and decide!

Re: Hair Trial Questions
I had my dress, but no headpeice because you need swatch of ur actual dress to find matching veil. I think its fine, if you book then change ur mind on what u want for your hair you can always go back and do another trial with the person u picked

Interesting... how many styles can you 'try out' at one trial? I didn't think to ask if you can do two or three...

Re: Hair Trial Questions
me personally, i would want my dress, headpiece and jewlery so i can really see it all together, but you def dont need to, i think as long as you have a general idea of how you want your dress to be it should give you some ideas for your hair trial... Plus, like gloria said, you could have her do diff styles

Re: Hair Trial Questions
I am having a hair/makeup trial the day of my engagement party, and I don't have my wedding dress, I want to make sure that I like the way my hair/makeup comes out before I setup my 'real trial'

Re: Hair Trial Questions
You definitely do not need your dress, I didn't have mine and I definitely did not have my veil or headpeice. Maybe you should know the style of dress you want. I showed M*i*a the dress I was thinking of, but she still showed me 2 different hair styles, and even variations of the half up half down style.
I just booked her based on the fact that I know she can do whatever style I want. I am going back for another trial in May because I changed my mind as to what I want and I want to try something else before my side bangs grow out.
