Hair trial stress!

Hair trial stress!

I booked 'Brides by V e n u s'. I spoke to V e n u s over 25 times. I was under the impression I was going to the Jackie Shawn Salon and meeting w/ her. They even called back after I scheduled the appt., b/c 'Venus usually doesn't do hair trials on Saturdays'. Venus reassured me she'd be there and the salon called back to let me know that.
The other night, after a few glasses of wine , I get an email from Venus stating I'd be meeting w/ Jennifer at the salon for my hair trial W T F? Long story short, Venus does make up and works closely w/ a 'team' of girls who do hair. Isn't ur business called 'Brides by V e n u s'? Not, 'Brides by Jennifer' After 1,000 emails back & forth b/c I thought she had lost her mind and forgot who I was and how many times we had discussed this (I even emailed her photos I liked) she explained that pretty much she's the madam and pimps out her little hair dressers. That was Monday, today I called the salon to confirm (for myself) that I do infact have an appt. w/ 'Jennifer', the woman says 'no, w/ Angela' does anyone know what they're doing around here?
So help...Do I cancel and start all over looking for a cheap hair dresser for me + 5? I live in FL, getting married in Holbrook. This is a nightmare. Help! UPDATE-if you think I should start all over, then I need some recommendations for my hair.

OMG, the plot thickens! The salon just called back and said now I'm w/ Jennifer, not Angela and they need me to come in @ 1pm, not 11am! W T F

Truthfully, I would start over...I would be skiddish about using them and them FORGETTING about me the day of...and do you really want to deal with the idea of them changing and rearranging so close to the wedding?

I dont know of anyone...you are willing to travel to the salon right?

If they are stressing you this much for a trial i would not trust them for the wedding.

Re: Hair trial stress!

You don't need that stress for your wedding wondering what things are goign to go wrong - I'd start looking for someone else.

I would start over. i had an appointment at a salon for a hair trial for 10am. When i got there the secretary called the hairstylist and that when she said she can't come in b/c of her car. I asked why no one called me and the secretary said she just found out she is not coming. long story short I found another hair stylist.
