I know this has been discussed before - but if I'm paying $150 for a hair trial at someone's home, do you suggest I tip? If so, how much (if the service is exceptional)?
Thanks!!

Re: HAIR TRIAL TIP?
I tipped when the trial was in their home. I tipped $10 on a $50 trial which is 20%.

Re: HAIR TRIAL TIP?
150 for a trial at someone's home, I dont think I would tip at all- the money is going all into her pocket. IMO it's kinda like not tipping the owner of a hair salon.

Re: HAIR TRIAL TIP?
Wow...$150 for a trial is a lot! I would say it depends on if you love it, if so, then $20. If not, then less

When is your trial? Mine is 1/23 - I'm glad you asked this question, because it is a lot of money in someone's pocket!!

Re: HAIR TRIAL TIP?
All that money is going to them...I tipped just because I wanted to assure a good hair style for the wedding--not that I think my hair stylist would have botched my wedding day hair, I just wanted to make sure everything was perfect!
