Hair Trials

I'm very frustrated...the girl who I asked to do my hair hasn't called me back (I've used her for years) and want to make sure she's available for my wedding before i do a trial with her. I got annoyed, so I thought I'd get a trial elsewhere.

So I called this other place, wanting to make an appointment. They asked when my wedding was and I told them August. They wouldn't let me make an appointment!!!!!! They won't book appointments until two months prior, meanwhile I of course want to get someone booked.

Ugh.....

How far in advance did you book your hair/makeup person?

I'm 5 1/2 months away...is it really too soon?

I found that to be true of salons. I inquired at two salons and they both told me it was too soon, and had to go back.

For piece of mind, I decided to go with a 'wedding' stylist rather than through a salon. I would highly recm'd seeking one out ASAP - 8.5 months is not that far away - especially for the popular stylists such as Pedala, April, Jenn Z, etc.
