I saw this pic and love how they all have low chignons and their bangs are swept to the side. Is is too cookie cutter? I think I want them all to go for low chignons with bangs to the side. What do you think?

Re: Hair Uniformity?
i know this sounds silly.... but its bothering me that they have the parts on Different sides. like if youre gonan do it.. Do it right!
ETS- i DO like the uniformity.. i think it makes it look very 'sleek'... i'm just sidetracked by the opposing parts

Personally I always like it when BM hairdos are similar/uniform. Thats what I had mine do too. If all of your BM are comfortable doing that style then I say go for it. I think it looks nice in pics too.

I think none of their own personalities come through....Just my opinion.

Re: Hair Uniformity?
It depends. Do you think they would make a stink about it?
Personally mine were all different and so were their dresses (they were seperates) and thats what I wanted - everyones uniqueness and style to show through.

I told the hair stylist that as long as their hair is in the same 'style' then I don't care what they do with it. But I think it would look silly if one had really 'done' hair and the others had really simple hairstyles .
I think the low chignon with side bangs is very elegant, but the question is whether all your girls have bangs and whether they would look good with bangs.

Re: Hair Uniformity?
i love it! I told my sisters, who have the same hair as me (to the right of me in the pic) that they HAD to wear theirs up, cause mine was down. It was my only Bridezilla moment!
Honestly, it all depends. I let them pick their own dress (matching for BM's, slightly different for MOH) wear their own shoes, and jewelry - so their personalities were able to shine through. To me, as long as they had their hair up, I didn't care about anything else!
They were all very willing. It all depends on the crowd you are dealing with.
It looks very nice but be careful-you could border on having them look like the girls in the addicted to love video..almost robotic and their personalities will be hindered. Is it enough that they are wearing the same dress, shoes, jewelry?

Re: Hair Uniformity?
I guess it depends on your bms... mine are all SO different from eachother and some wanted all up some wanted half up half down, curly , etc. I know personally I wouldn't want to be 'forced' to wear my hair a way I wasnt comfortable with.. I am not a big fan of how I look with my hair ALL up.. and my bms all have a different style and a different idea of what looks good. I let them do whatever they wanted. as long as everyones hair was professionally done I was happy.
I personally wouldn't want to be told how to wear my hair... but you're the bride and thats what you wanted I would go along with it...

Re: Hair Uniformity?
I wanted my BP to each wear a different dress just as long as it's the same burgundy dye lot. I happen to think that it will bring out their uniqueness.
I am not asking them to do their hair in any certain way.
It's a matter of preference, but I don't like everything exactly the same.

Is anyone else upset that BM on the right didnt cover up her tatoo???? Thats pissing me off for some reason- like it makes the picture ugly...::shrugs::
Kim...If you are paying for your girls to get their hair did...then tell them what to do.
If not, then they technically have the choice to do what they can afford. I like the look but make sure it looks good on all the BP...on me, that side sweep bangs thing wont cut it

SInce all my BMs are wearing different dresses, I told them they should do whatever they want with their hair too. I just look at it like, if someone told me how to wear my hair that I wasn't comfortable, I'd be bothered by it all night. JMO

Re: Hair Uniformity?
I am letting them do whatever they want. I think it is total Bridezilla-ish to dictate hairstyle. I had a friend who dictated hairstyle, nailpolish color AND length of nails and even pantyhose color!!!!!
I picked my girls because who they are, not what they look like and I want them to be comfortable that day. Whatever they decide, I know thay will look great!

I'm not making them get the same hair style. They all have different textures and lengths. What looks good on one, may not look good on everyone else. I just what them to feel comfortable and be happy.

My Bm's looked like a biker gang. My sister had one tat showing and my friend had a tribal band on her arm and a back tat. OH well. Couldn't cover them.. But I love them and wanted to be in the BP..
BTW. Not offended by what you said at all.. It made me laugh... it was kind of a joke btwn me and my moh that I was going to have a biker gang up there
Back to the point. I like the hairstyles very much. But does everyone have a short bang like that? If so. It is very pretty. I had ALL my bm's do an updo. I didn't care what. Just no cornrows or anything. In the end they all looked similar. I don't think it is too bridezilla. Just make sure they are all comfortable with it.

Re: Hair Uniformity?
not all of them have the short bangs though- a couple of them just have it swept to the side, so anyone could do that hairstyle.
i dont like that they have the same style as the Bride though... i feel like their should be te opposite (if theyre going to match anyway)

Re: Hair Uniformity?
i think it looks really nice...i LOVE organization..but i DO NOT like telling people what to do and decisions....
i couldnt even decide on THEIR dress..so forget the hair..whatever makes them happy...but they most likely all will wear it up..i cant think of anyone that would want it down

Re: Hair Uniformity?
Both of my sisters went for the hair uniformity for their BPs. My one sister had all of us wear our hair down and she wore hers up.
My other sister had her hair half up half down with curls and had her BMs with french twists.
