I always thought I'd have my hair up but my fiance is one of those guys who ALWAYS likes to see me with my hair down.
If you were me, would you wear your hair down to make him happy on our wedding day???

Re: Hair Up or Hair Down???
for an August wedding I'd want my hair up. I was going to do a half-up style (for my 9-23 wedding) but then I went to a wedding where the brides hair was down and looked awful after just a few hours.

im wearing my hair up b/c i love it up and i dont have much patience with my hair down, dancing and all the moving around will drive me nuts plus my curls fall out easy with it down

Um, who's hair is it????? You need to do what you like most and what flatters you and your dress.

I hate the way I look with my hair up so it will be all down or half up half down.

Your FH will think you look gorgeous no matter how you wear your hair. Its totally up to you - what do YOU want? I am wearing m hair up, first of all because its shoulder length, and the style I would want if I were to wear it down or half up/down needs much longer hair. Secondly, when I am dancing I get really hot with my hair down and very uncomfortable, and I plan on dancing like a maniac!

Your wedding is in August, is your hair going to stay nice & non-frizzy if its down? That's something to consider. Perhaps compromise w/ half up-down

Re: Hair Up or Hair Down???
I happen to think half or most hair down is a very romantic, soft look on brides.
I had a dress similar to yours and just had a few pieces pinned up, the rest of it was down.
I always wear my hair up or in a ponytail anyway, so to have it like that on my wedding day would have been meaningless.
I say get your dress first.......and do a trial and see what you like best. Up or down?
