Haircut/Parade and ordering my dress!!
Well got a really good haircut and blow out at this salon in town. Everyone spoke spanish which was odd for me but got a great haircut and didn't have to make small talk with people YIPPIE! Hopefully have pics soon since my camera's battery is dead.

Figured I have time to kill before my measuring/ordering of gown so i watched the lindenhurst fire department parade and drill. bunch of li fire departments take place in this competition which is part parade then drill games.
well midway this 12 year old girl and a 9 year old boy kept putting snaps in the middle of the street for the parade marches to step on. Well after the first 15 min of watching it getting really angry at the fact the parents were not saying anything... i was about to get up when the woman next to me did and said very nicely to have her children stop since it is a competition and it's distracting the participants. Then the girl stuck her tongue out and starting pointing and saying stuff to her mother. They stopped for like 2 mins and then did it again and the competition judges were like this is really getting annoying so i went over and said GREAT PARENTING SKILLS! Then was walking away and the girl mouthed something and ran over to two cars of parents and TONS of kids that were drinking vodka and orange in mass quantities. I just shook my head at them when they look at me.
The judges and the women next me said this is why our town has a bad rep its because of a few bad eggs like this. It amazes me that people can be so inconsiderate and horrible and have children.![]()

SO now for happier times and i get measured (which is not so happy) but the happiest part is i order my dress officially!!! YEA YEA YEA YEA
